This is actually the first wedding dress that Etro has ever made!

Taylor Hill and her now husband Daniel Fryer got engaged in June of 2021 when Daniel proposed with a three-stone emerald cut diamond engagement ring while the couple was on vacation in Italy. After the engagement—but before the bride made the trip home to Winter Park, Colorado get married—Vogue caught up with Taylor for her final wedding dress fitting in Manhattan with Etro creative director Marco Devincenzo.

“This is actually the first wedding dress that Etro has ever made!” Taylor shares.

The model has been working with #Etro for nearly a decade, so when she began thinking about who she wanted to make her wedding dress, it just made sense. “When they sent me the sketches of it, I was like, ‘It’s like you’re in my head,’” she remembers. “My favourite part of the dress is probably the top and the sleeve. It gives it the element of romance that I was looking for.”

"You saw my vision and created something more beautiful than I ever could’ve imagined and this dress felt so me, especially since I wanted to get married barefoot because I believe it makes me feel grounded and I wanted to be connected to the earth that I’m from".- she said.

For her Western-inspired wedding, Taylor Hill turned to Etro for her custom bridal look.

“Etro literally took everything that was in my brain and transformed it into reality. The gown is truly the dress of my dreams. It is elegant, but gives a nod to boho with its stunning material, movement, and beading.”

As for jewelry, there was no question in Taylor’s mind: she knew from the start of the styling process that she wanted to wear David Yurman. “I have a continued relationship with the family brand and their collection was the perfect compliment to my custom Etro dress,” she explains.
