Diesel SPRING 2024 READY-TO-WEAR
Diesel for the people. Diesel for the party.
Impact, experimentation, pleasure, play a collection for partying as a way of being. The Diesel pillars: Denim, Utility, Pop and Artisanal are pushed to the limit.
The distressing effect is unique for every garment, devoré denim is printed from the inside with red Diesel logo and dreamy floral prints. Utility pieces feature zip-up denim and cargo pockets are held together by straps.
Artisanal zip-up jackets are made from scrunching real-life posters to make a silhouette like a fur.
The collection is designed to live in the moment with looks that capture the spirit of spontaneity with imaginative distressing and utility techniques, witty takes on Hollywood film posters and new ideas of how to wear underwear.
The DieselSS24 Runway Collection expressed Creative Director Glenn Martens’ vision for Diesel — defined by Pop, Denim, Utility and Artisanal — by pushing techniques to the extreme.
Inspired by modern streetwear and party culture, men’s denim is artfully distressed with devore jeans reverse printed with the red Diesel logo. Devoré denim tailoring is printed from the inside out with pinstripes. Indigo jacquard knits are shredded to look like destroyed denim.
A wardrobe befitting an amazing party included devore denim; dresses and cardigans made from artfully destroyed cobweb knits; cargo pants, a top and skirt made entirely out of cargo pockets; and sexy sheer dresses detailed with trompe l’oeil bras and thongs.
Glenn Martens reimagines Women’s Denim designed for sex, freedom, indulgence and fun for the DieselSS24 Runway Show. Applying couture-level techniques to denim — the uniform of the every day — creates a wardrobe for the ultimate party. New styles include devoré denim jeans, burnt-out mini dresses, bonded denim and shredded indigo jacquard knits that look like artfully destroyed jeans.
