What we adore most about Rebecca Taylor’s casual sister line, La Vie (French for “the life”), is that it perfectly combines both elegant Victorian elements and a vintage-y, bohemian aesthetic. A sort of love letter to Paris, Rebecca Taylor launched the line in 2016 with a collection of easy-to-wear pieces that are also incredibly versatile. Pretty prints and hyper-girly details; peasant blouses with pintucks; and eyelet fabrics with edgy details. In sum, this wear-anywhere (and everywhere) closet essentials are what we want to live in on the weekends.
Beautiful blooming embroidery and a cosy construction make this sweater anything but basic. It’s done in an incredibly plush, merino mohair blend, and has a ribbed collar with matching cuffs and hem. Plus, it’s the kind of just-add-jeans piece that requires minimal effort to style.
Main: 55% merino, 20% cotton, 25% nylon; Embroidery: 55% acrylic,17% mohair, 17% wool, 11% polyamide.
